The Adopt-A-Priest Program is designed to support and show love and appreciation for our priests in the Augusta Deanery. The basic structure of this program includes providing meals for your assigned priest, celebrating special dates within their life, and including them in your prayers.

If you are a male by birth, 18 years and older, and a practicing Catholic in union with the Holy See, come make a difference. Founded on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney and his group of parishioners. Their intent is to bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Council 5484, the first integrated Council in the state of Georgia, was formed on December 7, 1963. Assembly 180 was formed in 1964. Both the Council and Assembly were named in honor of the United States of America’s, first Roman Catholic President, John F. Kennedy. Come add to the history of Council 5484 and Assembly 180 and be a part of largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world. Become a Knight today! Apply on-line or applications can be found in the narthex.
