Liturgy
Altar Servers assist at every Mass with a variety of responsibilities. This ministry is open to boys and girls 11 years and older. There is an annual call for Altar Servers in the fall where parents and potential servers learn about this ministry and the training required. Lectors proclaim the Word at all Masses. People inspired by the Holy Spirit to this ministry can call William Harper at 706-722-4944 ext. 305. There is a training session as well as an annual retreat.
Ushers have a variety of responsibilities at Masses. They welcome everyone, help persons with special needs, take the collection and distribute bulletins. For additional information call Jim Cotter at 706-738-8594.
Altar Linens group washes purificators, corporals and towels. This is done on a rotating base. Call Paula Livingston at 706-796-0647.
Altar Society is available to those that have limited volunteer time, but want to be involved in the parish. The Altar Society is a list of people who can be called when there is a need, such as preparing the Church for Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas, etc. To put your name on the list, call the Church office 706-722-4944, tell them you want to be a part of the Altar Society.
Adoration is available one day a week beginning after 12:15 p.m. Mass. Everyone is invited to spend one hour of quiet time with our Lord. However, there must be at least two adorers scheduled at every hour during Adoration. If you can give one hour a week or one hour a month, please contact Linda Parnell at 706-863-3338 for information and scheduling.
